Teacher Attendance is calculated only after either the Student or the Teacher selects "The teacher didn't attend and didn't give prior notice" as the Lesson Problem.
If you accept this condition, you will receive a missed attendance for that particular lesson.
How to avoid receiving missed attendance marks
You can communicate with your Student ahead of time and tell them to follow the exact steps below which will help you avoid receiving missed attendance marks.
Step1: When the lesson time is passed, the teacher or student can select "There was a problem" to report the lesson problem.
Step2: On the following page, the teacher or student should then select "Reached a prior agreement to reschedule lesson or receive a refund" or "The teacher didn't attend but gave prior notice"
Once the lesson problem is confirmed by both sides (the teacher and student), or italki during the disputed lessons. If the reason is confirmed as "The student did not attend the lesson" will give the student a missed attendance mark, and "The teacher didn't attend and didn't give prior notice" will give the teacher a missed attendance mark.
