Check the time on your dashboard
How do you know your italki time zone setting is correct? Simply make sure the time on your Dashboard is the same on your device!
You can find a small exclamation icon with a notification if your italki time zone setting is different from your device. Click on the icon to update your time zone.

Or, you can go to your italki Settings Page (https://www.italki.com/settings/account) and select the correct Time Zone from the drop-down menu.
Make sure you check your Dashboard again and see if the time is the same on your device!
Daylight Saving Time
You don’t need to manually change your time zone setting for DST (Daylight Saving Time). It is automatically observed and updated on italki.
My teacher's time zone
Once the time zone is correctly selected, the date and time you see on the italki booking page and lesson pages are in your timezone. You don’t need to worry about your teacher’s timezone - for booking or taking a lesson, italki automatically calculates time zone differences between you and your teacher.
