我在今年四月,成为italki的职业老师。我特别喜欢这个新的职业,一个月下来,上课带给我满满的快乐和成就感。
我在italki的教师旅程里,我的第一个学生是一名来自瑞士,他曾经在香港工作了五年,现在回到自己的国家。因为在瑞士,他很少有机会说粤语,所以他一直在italki上课练习粤语。
这是我第一次在平台上给外国人授课,其实课前我很紧张。但在授课前一天,我先发邮件给学生,咨询他们想学习的重点内容。但是这名学生主要更倾向于对话为主。知道了学生的学习重点,我也有了授课的重点方向,课上,氛围很轻松很快乐。这名学生的语言功底非常扎实,国语粤语都很棒。在课堂上,主要以沟通交流为主。我会让学生成为课堂的主角,让他们有充分的时间表达自己的想法,锻炼他们的语言沟通能力。也会积极找出我跟学生的共鸣点,比如这个瑞士学生的母语是瑞士德语,我也会分享我学习德语的趣事,让他更有动力学习粤语,体会中华语言的魅力。也会根据实际情况,提出不同的问题让学生回答。遇到他们有错误的地方,我会及时纠正,并给出正确的拼写。
我的教学方法有同义词替换联系,比如学习到“白天"这个词组,我会举例”清晨“”早晨“这些同义的关联词组让学生进行学习;有的时候,为了让学生掌握比较难的句子,我也会进行词组替换,比如句子”今天天气十分好,所以我会跟我的家人一起去动物园游玩“,我会让学生掌握固定的句框架,替换不同的词组,比如成“今天下雨了,所以我会跟我的同事一起去公司工作。”替换的意义,就是让学生能熟悉句型并举一反三。我的学生偏向技能应用型为主。授课最大的成就感就是看到学生的进步,比如初学者慢慢会说简单的句子了。比如中级的学生,语言越说越流畅了,还能表达自己深刻的观点和想法。这些进步都让我非常欣慰。
作为一名新老师,虽然授课时间不长,但是我相信我有足够的专业知识储备,重要的是我有饱满的热情和幽默感,去鼓舞和感染我的学生感受学习的乐趣。我希望学生上课不仅学有所成,也能享受语言的魅力,在快乐中进步成长。

According to the actual situation, they will ask different questions for students to answer. When they encounter mistakes, I will correct them in time and give the correct spelling.
My teaching method is synonymous replacement. For example, when I learn the phrase "daytime", I will give examples of "early morning" and "morning" synonymous phrases for students to learn; sometimes, in order to let students master more difficult sentences , I will also do phrase substitution, such as the sentence "The weather is very good today, so I will go to the zoo with my family". I will let the students master the fixed sentence frame and replace different phrases, such as "It is raining today" I’m going to work in the company with my colleagues.” The purpose of word substitution is to make students familiar with the sentence pattern and make an inference. The greatest sense of accomplishment in teaching is to see the progress of students. For example, the beginners can speak simple sentences gradually and the intermediate students can express deeper opinions and ideas. I am very pleased with these advancements.
As a new teacher, although the teaching time is not long, I believe that I have enough professional knowledge reserves, the important thing is that I have a full of enthusiasm and humor, to encourage and infect my students to feel the joy of learning. I hope that students will not only learn well in class, but also enjoy the charm of language and make progress in happiness.
