Earn More in August With These Tips:
✔ Take time to understand your students' personalities, maybe even offer them a test that they share with you, that will help you better tailor your lessons.
✔ Are you reaching the right students on italki? Make sure your profile has the English learning keywords that your students are searching for.
✔ Remember when using media in the classroom to “lean into ambiguity” and understand that 100% comprehension isn’t always needed to enjoy media.
✔ Also, comedy can be cultural and subtle and doesn’t always make the best media to consume in class.
✔ Remember in Conversation Lessons to search for vocabulary gaps, if your student always talks about the office, try a conversation about exercise!

Your teaching adventure
We are bringing you some amazing stories as a courtesy of italki teachers. See how different the teacher's journey can be even though we are all aboard the same cruise liner.
In August, we will be inviting italki users to travel both back and forward in time. Back in time to when we were younger and dug in our letters to future selves, and forward in time to imagine what we would like our lives to be in 10 years. You are welcome to participate yourself and of course assist your students, with their letters, which will be a great writing practice!
