Scheduled Maintenance Monday, Sep 5 from 00:00am to 04:00am UTC

On Monday, September 5th from 00:00 am to 04:00 am (UTC) (Convert to my local time), the italki website and app will be down for approximately 4 hours for scheduled maintenance.

Expected behavior:

You will be unable to perform the following actions during this window:

• Access italki website 
• Access italki app
• Enter italki Classroom 

For scheduled lessons that take place during the maintenance period:

• Lessons via italki Classroom - Please communicate with your teacher/student beforehand and choose another Communication Tool.
• Lessons via other Communication Tools - You may still enjoy the lesson. However, prior to the maintenance time, please make sure you have your teacher’s/student’s communication tool information at hand, such as zoom link, Skype ID, etc, and add your teacher/student to your chosen lesson software as soon as possible. Last but not least, be sure to remember the lesson time for upcoming lessons. 
• For teachers, the instant lesson feature will be automatically disabled 35 minutes ahead of the service downtime in order to avoid users facing service interruption during their Classroom instant lesson. You have to reopen this feature manually after the downtime if you are willing to teach the instant lessons.
